Apple is expected to debut the iPhone 13 in September, according to reports. Although Apple has yet to make an official announcement regarding its new iPhone series, the specifications and early renderings of the next device has already begun to circulate online.
According to the most recent rumours, the upcoming iPhone will be equipped with 25W fast charging. In comparison to the current iPhone 12, which allows fast charging at up to 20W, this would represent a performance improvement.
iPhone 13 Fast Charging Leaked
According to a Chinese website labelled as MyDrivers, the iPhone 13 will be equipped with 25W fast charging capability as standard. When connected to a suitable power adapter, the next iPhone is projected to be able to charge at speeds of up to 25 watts.
Apple launched an 18W USB-C converter in conjunction with the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro Max in 2019. On the other hand, Apple launched a somewhat more powerful converter in 2020, introducing a 20W USB-Type C adapter.
According to a rumour published on a Chinese website, Apple will update its USB Type-C connection to give consumers faster-charging capabilities.
According to a study by 9to5Mac, increasing the power of a charger from 20W to 25W would not make a significant impact because there are quicker chargers available on the market. All of Apple’s rivals have chargers that are far quicker than the iPhone’s.
“The 20W fast charging head that is presently available for purchase on Apple’s official website provides limited charging speed when compared to the previous 18W fast charging head.”
“Even though Apple has raised the charging power to 25W this time around, the charging pace should remain relatively unchanged. It should be noted that the next generation of fast charging source adapters will still need to be purchased separately by consumers, and Apple’s “environmental protection” plan may not be fully implemented until the end of the year”, according to the publication.
According to reports, the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, and iPhone 13 small are among the versions that are expected to be released by Apple this year as part of the iPhone 13 series. According to reports, the phones will have the same boxy appearance as the iPhone 12 series. There may be some variations in the placement of the cameras in the camera island, particularly for the iPhone 13, which is believed to include two camera sensors.
Due respect to previous rumours, the pro versions would be equipped with LTPO screens that have a 120 Hz refresh rate, while the other two variants will have a 60Hz refresh rate. It is also expected that the iPhone 13 model would include quicker wireless charging as well as reverse wireless charging. Phones powered by the newer Apple A15 bionic chipset, which is built on a 5nm manufacturing process identical to the A14 Bionic, are likely to be released soon.
