Netflix subscription plans have become costlier in some countries.

Netflix plans have increased in price in some countries. India recently saw a price reduction from the streaming company, but the US and Canada have seen an increase in their monthly and yearly plans.

What is the Pricing now?

A $1 to $2 per month price increase has been announced by the company in the United States. Netflix has been exceptionally considerate in this regard with respect to Indian subscribers. Netflix has reduced the cost of its subscription plans in India in an effort to gain more customers. In India, the monthly plan is available for a starting price of Rs 149.

Higher Rates for the US and Canada

In the United States, the most basic plan, which only allows one screen to be active at a time, costs $9.99. The monthly fee for the standard plan has risen from $14.50 to $15.50. The standard plan allows for two screens to be used at once. The 4K plan will now cost $20 per month instead of $18. Four screens can be used simultaneously with this plan. The basic plan’s cost has also gone up by $1.

A price increase for Canada’s Netflix plans was also implemented. The standard Canadian plan now costs C$16.49, up from C$14.99 previously. From C$2 to C$20.99, the premium plan has been increased. But Netflix hasn’t raised the cost of its most basic package. The price remains at C$9.99.

Netflix Cheap Rates for India

According to a Netflix spokesperson, “We are updating our prices so that we can continue to offer a wide variety of quality entertainment options.” With a variety of plans available, members can find one that fits their needs and their budgets, as always.

Indian customers can now stream Netflix content on their smartphones and tablets at 480p on the mobile plan for Rs 149, down from Rs 199. It’s now Rs 199 for the basic plan, which lets you stream videos to one mobile device, tablet, computer, or television at a time. An earlier iteration of the strategy was tested at a price of Rs 499.

Users in India will now have to pay Rs 499 for the Standard subscription plan in order to stream videos in high definition. Dual-screen video streaming is possible with this plan. Previously, the Standard plan cost Rs 649. The Premium plan, which was previously priced at Rs 799, has been reduced to Rs 649. Users can watch videos in 4K+HDR on the Premium plan. With the Premium plan, you’ll be able to watch four different devices at once.
