Gmail New Layout Update is Amazing, Know how Google Improved it!

A revamped version of Gmail or Gmail new layout will be made available to Google Workspace customers later this month, according to the search giant. As part of Google’s efforts to better incorporate Google Chat, Meet, and Spaces into its workplace offering, the firm started last year that it would be updating its email service for Workspace users.

According to Google, the revamped Gmail for Workspace will have the company’s “integrated view” starting next week and will be available to all customers by the second quarter of 2022, if not sooner.

The new integrated view will be available to Google Workspace customers starting on February 8, according to an update on the company’s Workspace blog. Gmail, Chat, and Meet will no longer be available from a single layout; instead, users will be able to choose between four buttons — Mail, Chat, Spaces, and Meet — as needed.

Accordingly, users will only get an expanded view of the service they have selected, with notification bubbles appearing to keep them up to date, according to Google.

Users who upgrade to the new layout, according to Google, will be able to view the same list of message and label options that are now available to them. It was in September 2021 that Google originally revealed the modifications to Workspace features, disclosing that users will be able to initiate one-on-one chats with other users directly from Gmail – without the need to generate a Google Meet link. When used in conjunction with Workspace features, the Spaces tab allows users to exchange documents while also displaying chat history.

During the ongoing coronavirus-induced pandemic, the company has been working on integrating its Workspace offerings to make them more accessible to customers. Hybrid work and remote working are becoming more popular among businesses, and the company is working to make them more accessible to customers.

Users with Google Workspace Business, Enterprise, Education, Frontline, Nonprofit, and G Suite Basic and Business accounts will be able to see Google’s integrated view in the future. There is currently no information available on when the capability will be made available to users who are not affiliated with a corporate Workspace.

Users of Google Workspace who have not chosen to experiment with the new Gmail style will be automatically moved to the new layout by the end of April, according to the corporation. Google says that users will be able to roll back the change for a period of time and that the new layout will be permanently enabled for all users by the end of Q2 2022.
