Google has finally made dark mode available on the Google Search desktop application. You may now alter the colour of the bright web pages to a dark inky grey. Google has already begun rolling out the dark look for its Android and iOS applications. It has now been made possible to use the Google Search desktop application in a dark mode.

Learn how to enable dark mode in Google Search by following the steps below:
- Select Settings from the drop-down menu at the top of the web page.
- On the left-hand side, choose Appearance.
- Select Device default, Dark, or Light from the drop-down menu.
- If you choose Device default, the colour will be automatically adjusted to match the colour scheme of your current device.
- For example, if you select the Dark colour, it will display light text on a dark backdrop.
- It would display dark text on a light backdrop if you selected the Light colour option.
- You can then save your changes by clicking on the Save button when you have finished customising your options.
The Google Search pages contain, among other things, the Google homepage, the search results page, and the Search settings. Google has stated that the update will be sent out over the next couple of weeks, so users may not be able to make use of it immediately. Google is also testing the functionality on mobile devices but has not announced when or how the feature will be made available.
Google had begun testing the dark mode on Search desktop earlier in February, and the results were positive. When asked about the new upgrade, Google said in a statement to The Verge, “We’re continuously testing new ways to improve our experience for our customers, but we don’t have anything particular to share right now.”
